In Frankly Friday
There are exactly 100 days before the end of the year.
What would you like to be true about your life on January 1, 2024?
Are you stronger?
More confident?
Working somewhere new?
Stronger in your marriage?
Less dependent on a drug, or a person?
Closer with God?
Better at managing your time?
More present with your kids?
A better steward of your money?
A helicopter pilot?
A Pilates instructor?
A guitar player?
New year’s resolutions rarely work.
But baby steps always do.
The three pillars of mindset change are:
When you are:
1. Committed– It is no longer a daily choice. You have already decided that you will have the thing you want.
2. Consistent – You show up in the same way in the same place at the same time every day to make progress. Do not wait to feel “good” or ”inspired.” Your emotions and energy will fail you. Your discipline never will.
3. Coachable – You are open to a new way, a new process, guidance from someone who’s been there. If “your way,” worked you’d probably already have the thing you want.
☝️Any significant progress in my life has come from this method. No others have worked.
I became a musician, forged an amazing marriage, built a company, got two pilot licences, and wrote a 60,000-word best-selling book because of this.
I have also failed at many, many more endeavors than I’ve attempted. And you know what was true every time I failed?
I wasn’t committed, consistent, or coachable.
You’ll be amazed at how far you can go with 100 baby-steps and this mentality.
Choose your outcome.
Show up every day.
Swallow your pride and be open to help.
This is the way ☝️.
So what’s it gonna be?
You ready?
100 days, my friend. Let’s Go!!!!
