You’ve been called to make a difference in the world. It’s a kind of difference that only you can make.
Your experiences, relationships, and life challenges have granted you the ability to help others in a unique way.
Feeling inspired, you take a step toward doing that. Soon you are encountered by two voices:
– The voice of fear.
– The voice of courage.
The voice of fear frantically repeats, “You’re not ready yet. You need more information. You can’t do it alone. You don’t have enough resources. You’re not cut out for this.”
The voice of courage calmly reminds you: “Your heart is in the right place. There are people you can help right now. Shut up and do it.”
Over the last two years, I’ve spent more time listening to the first voice than I’d like to admit. At times it seemed louder than the voice of courage but I realize today that I had control of the volume knob the entire time.
So do you.
The voice you listen to will dictate your habits, your body language, and your thought patterns, which directly affect your ability to fulfill your calling.
What is the difference you have been called to make?
Do you see it? Can you hear it?
Is your heart in the right place?
There are people that need your help right now.
Shut up and do it.
