1. Declare your Vision

What future are you building? Paint the picture. If you don’t know where you’re going, no one will follow.

2. Establish Your Values

What do you stand for and against? Your beliefs shape your brand—own them.

3. Make Vows To Your Customers

What promises will you keep, no matter what? Your convictions mean nothing if you don’t act on them.

4. Set Your Business Objectives

It’s December 31… your business and life are exactly how you want them to be, what happened in order to make that true?

5. Tell Everyone!

Your vision, values, and goals mean nothing if they stay in your head. Share them, live them, and let your team carry them forward.

MESSAGE

What you need to say to make it happen.

1. Who Are You Talking To?

Define your ideal customer with a name, age, and background. What do they care about? How do they spend their time and money? A broad audience leads to watered-down messaging—get specific, or risk being ignored.

2. What Motivates Their Decisions?

What problem keeps them up at night? What daily frustrations are they desperate to solve? Maybe they’re chasing a dream, or maybe they just want an easier life. Pin down their needs, pains, hopes, and fears, so your message speaks directly to them.

3. How Does Your Offering Match Their Motivations?

Your product isn’t just a product—it’s the solution to their problem. Show how it eliminates frustration, makes their life better, or helps them reach their goals. If they don’t see themselves in your message, they won’t see themselves buying.

4. What’s Their Reasonable Next Step?

Don’t leave them wondering what to do next. Whether it’s booking a demo, claiming a discount, or signing up today, make it clear, easy, and urgent. Confusion kills conversions.

MEDIA

Where to say it to make it happen.

1. Speak to the Right Customers In the Right Place

Not all customers are in the same stage of their buying journey. Today customers are actively searching for solutions, Tomorrow customers need attention-grabbing interruption, and Yesterday customers require consistent nurturing. Your media mix must address all three.

2. Balance Short vs Long Game

A business thrives when 60-70% of its media budget is spent on emotional branding (Tomorrow) and 30-40% on direct-response sales (Today). Too much focus on short-term gains can hurt long-term brand strength.

3. Invest Consistently, Not Sporadically

A successful media plan isn’t about one-off bursts of spending, it’s about showing up consistently to build memory structure.

4. Scale Strategically

Start where you are, invest strategically, and scale toward the ideal mix as your business grows.
